Description
This is the BD679G, a Darlington transistor designed for use as an output device in general-purpose amplifier applications. It is a plastic, medium-power silicon NPN transistor that offers high DC current gain with a minimum hFE of 750 at IC = 1.5 and 2.0 Adc. The BD679G is part of a series of complementary general-purpose amplifier transistors, including BD675, 675A, 677, 677A, 679, 679A, 681, which are complementary with BD676, 676A, 678, 678A, 680, 680A, 682. It is also worth noting that BD677, 677A, 679, 679A are equivalent to MJE 800, 801, 802, 803.
