Description
The MOC3052SVM is a type of optocoupler that belongs to the category of thyristor signal output optocouplers. This device has a high isolation voltage of a minimum of 7500 peak VAC, which makes it suitable for use in various applications that require isolation from 115 and 240 Vac lines. The MOC3052SVM is designed to provide random phase control of high current triacs or thyristors and features greatly enhanced static dv/dt capability to ensure stable switching performance of inductive loads. It is composed of an AlGaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a non-zero-crossing silicon bilateral AC switch (triac).
