It has hysteresis between the positive-going and negative-going input thresholds, which allows it to receive slow input signals and transform them into sharply defined, jitter-free output signals. With its greater noise margin and over-voltage tolerant inputs and outputs, the NL37WZ14USG outperforms conventional inverters.
