Description
The NJM7805 is a linear voltage regulator, which is a part of the NJM7800 series of monolithic 3-Terminal Positive Voltage Regulators designed using the New JRC Planar epitaxial process. It contains internal current-limiting, thermal-shutdown, and safe-area compensation, which makes it essentially indestructible. This voltage regulator delivers over 1A output current when adequate heat sinking is provided. It finds its application as a fixed voltage regulator or with external components to obtain adjustable output voltages and currents.
