Description
The LT1585CT-1.5 is a low dropout, 3-terminal regulator with a 1.5V fixed output voltage. It has a 4.6A output current capability and is optimized for low voltage applications where transient response and minimum input voltage are critical. It is similar to the LT1084 but with lower dropout and faster transient response. This makes it ideal for low voltage microprocessor applications, especially as the regulator in an Intel processor GTL+ supply. The LT1585CT-1.5 is available in the through hole 3-pin TO-220 power package and 3-pin plastic DD.
