Description
The LD1117AS18TR is a low drop voltage regulator that can provide up to 1A of output current. It is available in both fixed and adjustable versions, with fixed output voltages of 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V, and 5.0V. The 2.85V type is specifically designed for SCSI-2 lines active termination. The LD1117AS18TR is supplied in SOT-223, DPAK, and TO-220 packages, which optimize thermal characteristics and save space. It features a high efficiency NPN pass transistor and requires a minimum 10µF capacitor for stability. The regulator achieves a very tight output voltage tolerance of ±2% at 25°C through chip trimming.
