The DS1816R-20+TR is an EconoReset electronic component model that is used as a supervisor in various applications. When an out-of-tolerance condition is detected, the DS1816R-20+TR generates an internal power-fail signal that forces a reset to the active state. After VCC returns to an in-tolerance condition, the reset signal remains in the active state for approximately 150ms, allowing the power supply and processor to stabilize.
