Description
AT87C52X2-3CSUM is a high-performance CMOS microcontroller with a ROM, OTP, EPROM, and ROMless versions. It is part of the 80C51 CMOS single-chip 8-bit microcontroller family. The AT87C52X2 retains all the features of the 80C51 and also offers extended ROM/EPROM capacity (8 Kbytes). It has 256 bytes of internal RAM, a 6-source, 4-level interrupt system, an on-chip oscillator, and three timer/counters. The TS80C52X2 has a dual data pointer and a versatile serial channel for multiprocessor communication (EUART). It also features an X2 speed improvement mechanism. The fully static design allows the AT87C52X2-3CSUM to reduce system power consumption by adjusting the clock frequency to any value, even DC, without loss of data. It also offers two software-selectable modes of reduced activity for further power consumption reduction: idle mode and power-down mode. In the idle mode, the CPU is frozen while the timers, serial port, and interrupt system are still operating. In the power-down mode, RAM is saved and all other functions are inoperative.
