Description
The FS7140-02G-XTD is a clock generator, frequency synthesizer, and PLL electronic component model. It is part of the HiperPFS device family. This device incorporates a continuous conduction mode (CCM) boost PFC controller, gate driver, and high-voltage power MOSFET in a single, low-profile eSIP power package. The FS7140-02G-XTD provides near unity input power factor, eliminating the need for external current sense resistors and reducing power loss. It features an innovative control technique that adjusts the switching frequency over output load, input line voltage, and input line cycle to maximize efficiency. The device also minimizes EMI filtering requirements due to its wide-bandwidth spread spectrum effect. It includes comprehensive protection features such as integrated soft-start, UV, OV, brown-in/out, and hysteretic thermal shutdown. The FS7140-02G-XTD is ideal for boost power factor correction (PFC) applications and offers high light load efficiency, low no-load consumption, and a small form factor design.
