Description
The NCV4279BDWR2 is a 5.0 V precision micropower voltage regulator with an output current capability of 150 mA. It has an accurate output voltage within ±2.0% and a maximum dropout voltage of 0.6 V at 150 mA. This regulator is designed for battery-operated microprocessor equipment. It features microprocessor control logic including an active RESET (with DELAY) and a FLAG monitor for providing an early warning signal to the microprocessor. The active RESET circuit operates at an output voltage as low as 1.0 V and is activated during power-up or when the output voltage drops outside the regulation limits. The reset threshold voltage can be adjusted by connecting an external resistor divider to the RADJ lead. The NCV4279BDWR2 is protected against reverse battery, short circuit, and thermal overload conditions, making it suitable for automotive environments. It has also been optimized for EMC conditions.
