The M41T315V-85MH6F is a Real-time Clock (RTC) component that combines a CMOS TIMEKEEPER® with a non-volatile memory supervisor, suitable for power failure and instability monitoring. The memory supervisor system detects power instability and, in cases of absence or instability, the external battery maintains the timekeeping operation and provides power for a CMOS static RAM through write protection.
