Description
The RT9167 is a micropower regulator suitable for portable applications that require low dropout voltage and low noise. It can provide up to 500mA of output current, with a range of output voltages from 1.5V to 5.0V in 100mV increments and 2% accuracy. It uses an internal PMOS as the pass device, which allows for stable output even with low ESR capacitors. The RT9167 also features current limiting, over temperature protection, and a shutdown mode with a nearly zero operation current, making it suitable for battery-powered devices.
