Description
This article introduces the CSNT651, which is a current sensor and belongs to the closed-loop sensor category. It can measure AC, DC, and impulse currents over a range of 0-25, 0-50, 0-100, 0-600, and 0-1200 Amp, based on the principles of the Hall effect and the null balance or zero magnetic flux method. The sensor core of the CSNT651 continuously controls the magnetic flux at zero. This closed-loop current presents an image of the primary current reduced by the number of secondary turns at any given time, which can be expressed as voltage by passing it through a resistor.
