Description
Maxim’s MAX8212ESA is a CMOS micropower voltage detector that warns microprocessors (µPs) of power failures. It features a comparator, a 1.5V bandgap reference, and an open-drain n-channel output driver. This voltage detector requires two external resistors to set the trip voltage to the desired level. It also includes a hysteresis output, which allows the user to apply positive feedback for noise-free output switching.
