Description
OP535A is a phototransistor electronic component that consists of an NPN silicon photodarlington molded in a green plastic package. It offers excellent on-axis coupling with its narrow receiving angle. These components are 100% production tested using infrared light for close correlation with OPtek GaAs and GaAlAs emitters. Photodarlington devices are usually preferred for applications where light single levels are low and more current gain is needed than is possible with phototransistors.
