The role of ESD electrostatic protector
The development of modern technology has made our lives more colorful and has also increased production efficiency. In various productions, the ESD static protection device is a very important circuit component, which can ensure the normal operation of the entire circuit system.
ESD static protection devices are connected in parallel with circuits. When the circuit is operating normally, the protection device is in a non-working state and does not affect the operation of the circuit. However, once the circuit has a problem, the static protection device will immediately work. They mostly use the principle of resistance to form a barrier on the road, which prevents the circuit from flowing directly, thereby maintaining the safety of the entire circuit. When the circuit anomaly disappears, this barrier is automatically cleared, and the circuit returns to normal working level.
With the continuous improvement of related production technologies, the volume of ESD static protection devices is also becoming smaller and smaller. Now, we only need to install it in the gap to achieve good protection effect. This small component can also have a strong response speed, making the entire circuit in an absolutely safe state. Therefore, it plays an important role in many industries and has become one of the basic application components.
However, when using ESD static protection devices, we need to pay attention to several issues. Firstly, its transmission rate is getting higher and higher, mainly depending on the control of capacitance. With the improvement of modern production technology, capacitance will become lower and lower, that is, its transmission speed will become faster and faster. Therefore, when choosing static protection components, we should pay attention to the specifications of capacitance.
Secondly, the protector with the highest capacitance is not necessarily the best component. We can only choose products that meet our own needs, and too high or too low capacitance may have negative effects on production. In addition, although the volume of circuit protection components is now small, we should also consider the entire space layout of the circuit board and choose the product with the most suitable shape and size. It should be noted that installing too many static protection devices will instead make the entire circuit unsafe, so we need to choose according to specific circumstances.
