Description
The SP3222EUCY-L is an RS-232 driver/receiver solution that falls under the category of Receivers & Transceivers electronic components. It is designed specifically for portable or handheld applications such as palmtop computers, instrumentation and consumer products. With its high-efficiency charge-pump power supply, this device can deliver true RS-232 performance from a single power supply ranging from +3.0V to +5.0V, making it highly compatible with most devices. The ESD tolerance of the device is over +/-15kV for both Human Body Model and IEC61000-4-2 Air discharge test methods. Additionally, the SP3222EUCY-L has a low-power shutdown mode where the driver outputs and charge pumps are disabled allowing the supply current to fall to less than 1µA.
