POWER THERMISTOR is a device designed to suppress inrush current in electric circuits. When circuits with components like electric bulbs or capacitors are turned on, they can generate an inrush current that is more than 100 times the normal current. The POWER THERMISTOR protects electrical equipment by limiting this inrush current (Page 21).

Application Scenarios
The power thermistor is used to suppress inrush current caused by components such as capacitors, filaments for bulbs, inverters for fluorescent lamps, heaters, and more. It can also be used to control the fan motor speed of a cooler for an electric circuit. In particular, the MARK version was developed as a replacement for cement resistors in power supplies for TVs, VCRs, and other devices.
