Description

The PCD3311P is a single-chip silicon gate CMOS integrated circuit that is commonly used in telephone sets for tone dialing systems. It provides the dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) combinations required for tone dialing. The audio output frequencies are generated from an on-chip 3.58 MHz quartz crystal-controlled oscillator.
