    The MAX8686 is a DC switching regulator belonging to the category of a current-mode, synchronous PWM stepdown regulator with integrated MOSFETs. It works in an input supply range of 4.5V to 20V and generates an adjustable output voltage from 0.7V to 5.5V. The device is capable of delivering up to 25A per phase.
