Description
The AMS2907CL-1.8 is an adjustable and fixed voltage regulator that can provide an output current of up to 500mA. It is designed to operate down to 1V input-to-output differential and has a dropout voltage of maximum 1.3V at maximum output current, which decreases at lower load currents. The device has on-chip trimming that adjusts the reference voltage to 1%, and the current limit is also trimmed to minimize stress under overload conditions on both the regulator and power source circuitry. The AMS2907CL-1.8 is pin-compatible with other three-terminal regulators and is offered in the low-profile surface mount TO-252(DPAK), SOT-223, and SOT-89 packages.
