Description
The LT4356HDE-1#PBF is a surge suppressor with overvoltage protection regulator and auto-retry ability that protects loads from high voltage transients. It regulates the output during an overvoltage event, such as load dump in automobiles, by controlling the gate of an external N-channel MOSFET. This product also has an overcurrent fault protection system that monitors the voltage drop between the VCC and SNS pins. It has an adjustable fault timer and controls the N-channel MOSFET for better results making it ideal for automotive and avionic surge protection, high side switch for battery-powered systems as well as intrinsic safety applications.
