Description
The SM5882AS-ET is an IC chip from the ΣDECO SM588× series, designed for digital audio applications. It is fabricated using NPC's Molybdenum-gate CMOS process and comes in a miniature 8-pin package. This D/A converter IC provides all the basic converter functions and features a built-in 8-times oversampling digital filter, Σ∆ jitter-compensated D/A converter, and post-analog lowpass filter converter stages required for digital audio. It supports sampling rates of up to 96kHz for 16 or 24-bit input word length. There is also a version available with a built-in deemphasis filter for applications that require it.
