Description
The UPD160970MA-6A5-E1 is a source driver for TFT-LCDs capable of dealing with displays with 256-gray scales. It supports a full-color display of 16,777,216 colors through the output of 256 gamma-corrected values using an internal D/A converter and external power modules. The driver eliminates the need for level inversion operation of the LCD’s common electrode and can handle dot-line inversion, n-line inversion, and column line inversion on a single side. It also features a built-in 8-bit D/A converter circuit for outputting gray scale voltages of differing polarity.
