Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. introduces the 88E1000-RJJ, a Gigabit Ethernet over copper transceiver for various electronic applications. This transceiver is part of the Marvell Alaska family, known for its low power consumption, small form factor, high performance, and high port density. It is specifically optimized for the mobile computing market, making it suitable for various devices. The 88E1000-RJJ performs all physical layer functions for 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T full or half duplex Ethernet on category 5 (CAT 5) twisted pair cable, as well as 10BASE-T full or half duplex Ethernet on CAT 3, 4, and 5 cable. It also supports 1000BASE-X through an integrated 1.25 GHz Serializer/Deserializer (SERDES).
