Description
The ICE3A1565L is a new generation CoolSET™-F3 Controller for AC DC Converters and Offline Switchers. It provides Active Burst Mode for Standby Power Requirements below 100mW and immediate response on load jumps without any blackout in the SMPS.As a result, the output voltage ripple can be reduced to less than 1%. The device also enters into Latched Off Mode to increase robustness and safety of the system in the case of Overtemperature, Overvoltage or Short Winding. Additionally, an adjustable blanking window prevents the IC from entering into Auto Restart Mode in case of high load jumps and increases system reliability.
Specifications and features
The ICE3A1565L features a 650V avalanche rugged CoolMOS™. The switching frequency is internally fixed at 67/100kHz and an adjustable blanking window is available for short duration high current. It has internal PWM Leading Edge Blanking and Soft driving for low EMI.
