Description
The TVGA9000C is a high-performance fixed frequency power switching regulator, designed for use in dc-to-dc converters. It contains all the necessary functions for step-down and voltage-inverting configurations, with minimal external components required. The TVGA9000C can also be used cost-effectively in step-up applications.
This device includes an internal temperature-compensated reference, a fixed frequency oscillator with on-chip timing components, a latching pulse width modulator, a high gain error amplifier, and a high current output switch. It also features cycle-by-cycle current limiting, undervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown, and a low power standby mode that reduces power supply current.
