Description
The VA7318LFR-A is a 10V/5V dual output linear regulator that is designed for use in electronic devices. It has a 10V ±5% output that can source 1A of current, as well as a 5V ±5% output that can source 250mA. Each output is controlled by its own ENABLE pin, allowing for independent control over the regulator outputs. When the ENABLE input is set high, the associated regulator output turns on. The regulator is capable of entering sleep mode when both ENABLE inputs are held low, reducing current consumption to less than 50µA. The VA7318LFR-A is equipped with protection against overvoltage, short-circuit, and thermal runaway conditions. It is available in a 7 lead TO-220 package with a copper tab that can be connected to a heat sink if necessary.
