Description
The TC642B/TC647B devices are switch mode, fan speed controllers that are used in various electronic devices. These controllers help monitor and adjust the speed of fans, using pulse width modulation to control temperature-proportional fan speed. An integrated Start-Up Timer ensures reliable motor start-up at turn-on, coming out of shutdown mode or following a transient fault. These controllers have several features like minimum fan speed set, built-in thermistor, fault detection, auto-restart, over-temperature indication, etc.
