Description

The TL431 is a three-terminal adjustable shunt regulator with specified thermal stability over applicable temperature. It has a reference voltage of approximately 2.5V and can operate at voltages up to 40V with the use of two external resistors. The TL431 has a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.2Ω, and its active output circuitry provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making it an excellent replacement for zener diodes in various applications. The TL431 is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40℃ to +125℃.
