The S6B0715A01-05XO is a driver & controller LSI for graphic dot-matrix liquid crystal display systems. It is designed to connect directly to a microprocessor and accepts serial or 8-bit parallel display data. This chip contains 33 common and 100 segment driver circuits and has an on-chip display data RAM of 65 x 132 bits, providing a highly-flexible display section. The S6B0715A01-05XO also minimizes power consumption by performing display data RAM read/write operation with no external operating clock.
