Description
The UCC35702DTR is a current-mode Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) controller designed for implementing off-line, flyback, or forward converters with a minimal number of external components. It features a very low start-up supply current and low operating supply current. The controller has an accurate internally-trimmed fixed frequency oscillator and internal slope compensation, eliminating the need for external timing and ramp components. It also incorporates built-in over-voltage and under-voltage detection, as well as a high-speed over-current trip. The UCC35702DTR is capable of driving high output loads and has a wide bandwidth error amplifier with an external compensation pin for simple interface to an optocoupler. It is commonly used in off-line switched mode power supplies, laptop computer mains adaptors, and printer power supplies.
