Description

The MSM80C85A-2JS is a complete 8-bit parallel central processor implemented in silicon gate C-MOS technology. It is designed with higher processing speed (up to 5 MHz) and lower power consumption compared to the MSM80C85A, offering a high level of system integration. The power down mode (HALT-HOLD) and low power dissipation of 50mW (typ) make it efficient and suitable for various applications. It operates on a single +3 to +6V power supply and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The MSM80C85A-2JS is compatible with the MSM80C85A and has an on-chip clock generator with an external crystal. It also features on-chip system control, four vectored interrupts (including one non-maskable interrupt), serial in/serial out port, and addressing capability to 64K bytes of memory. This model comes in different package options: 40-pin Plastic DIP (DIP40-P-600-2.54), 44-pin Plastic QFJ (QFJ44-P-S650-1.27), and 44-pin Plastic QFP (QFP44-P-910-0.80-2K).
