Description
The SY88933ALKG is a high-sensitivity limiting post amplifier designed for use in fiber-optic receivers. It quantizes the linear signal output from typical transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs) to output PECL level waveforms. With its low-noise PECL data outputs, high gain SD, and a chatter-free open-collector TTL signal detect output with an internal 4.75kΩ pull-up resistor, the device provides reliable and accurate performance in a tiny 10-pin MSOP package. It is versatile and operates with a single 3.3V power supply, making it an ideal component in many applications requiring high-gain line drivers and receivers, low-gain TIA interface, GPON/BPON/EPON/GEPON, Gigabit Ethernet, 531Mbps and 1062Mbps Fibre Channel, and OC-3 and OC-12 SONET/SDH.
