The QS5LV919 Clock Driver is an electronic component model used for clock distribution in high-performance workstations, multiboard computers, networking hardware, and mainframe systems. It uses an internal phase-locked loop (PLL) to lock low skew outputs to one of two reference clock inputs. The driver includes eight outputs: 2xQ, Q0-Q4, Q5, and Q/2. Layout and design ensure less than 300 ps skew between the Q0-Q4 and Q/2 outputs. The QS5LV919 also includes an internal RC filter, eliminating the need for external components and providing excellent jitter characteristics. The PLL can be disabled for low-frequency or DC testing, and the LOCK output signals when phase lock has been achieved.
