The GS1881-CTA is a general purpose sync separator that belongs to the IC Chips product category. It can be used in various video applications for extracting the timing information from composite video signals with scan rates ranging from 15kHz to 130kHz. It is a drop-in replacement for the standard LM1881 and provides much-improved performance. This device generates composite sync, vertical sync, back porch, and odd/even field signals.
