Description
The CA555CS is a highly stable timer for precision timing and oscillator applications. It is capable of producing accurate time delays ranging from microseconds to hours. This monolithic integrated circuit can also be used for astable oscillator operation, maintaining a controlled frequency and duty cycle with only two external resistors and one capacitor. The CA555CS can be triggered by the falling edge of a waveform signal and its output can source or sink up to 200mA current or drive TTL circuits. It is a direct replacement for industry types such as SE555, NE555, MC1555, and MC1455.
