Description
The EPE6119G is an improved high precision analog multiplexer designed for various applications. It comes in two models - the PS398, which is an 8-channel single-ended mux, and the PS399, which is a 4-channel differential multiplexer. The PS398 selects one of eight inputs to a common output based on a 3-bit address, while the PS399 selects one of four differential inputs to a common differential output based on a 2-bit address. Both models have an EN (enable) pin that can disable all switches when low, making them useful for stacking multiple devices.

- Low On-Resistance (60Ω typ.) minimizes distortion and error voltages
- Low glitching reduces step errors and improves settling times, with a charge injection of less than 5pC
- Supports split-supply operation from +3V to +8V
- Improved second sources for MAX398/MAX399
- On-Resistance matching between channels is less than 6Ω
- On-Resistance flatness is less than 11Ω
- Low off-channel leakage, with INO(OFF) less than 1nA @ +85oC and ICOM(ON) less than 2.5nA @ +85oC
- TTL/CMOS logic compatible
- Fast switching speed with a tTRANS of less than 250ns
- Break-Before-Make action eliminates momentary crosstalk
- Rail-to-Rail analog signal range
- Low power consumption of less than 300µW
- Narrow SOIC and QSOP packages minimize board area
