Description

The RJ2421EB0PB model is a member of the RS5RJ series which are step-up DC/DC converter ICs that come with a voltage regulator (VR) and a voltage detector (VD) by CMOS process. These converters can be used as output-voltage-fixed type regulators that function as a linear regulator when input voltage is high, and as step-up DC/DC converter + linear regulator when input voltage is low. They consist of a VFM DC/DC converter, a linear regulator, and a voltage detector, and are suitable for battery-powered and hand-held instruments because internal circuits can be turned off by the chip enable function so that the standby current can be minimized. A voltage detector is built-in these ICs, which allows the potentials such as the output voltage of DC/DC converters to be monitored.
