Description
The MAX295CPA+ is an active filter component belonging to the MAX291/MAX292/MAX295/MAX296 series. These low-pass filters can be easily configured to produce a wide range of filter corner frequencies, from 0.1 Hz to 50 kHz (MAX295/MAX296). The MAX295CPA+ belongs to the Butterworth-type filter which provides a maximally flat passband response. The device has a fixed response, so the only design task involves selecting the clock frequency to control the filter's performance. It operates with a single +5V supply or dual ±5V supplies and comes in an 8-pin DIP and SO package. The MAX295CPA+ is an ideal component in ADC anti-aliasing filters, DAC post-filtering, noise analysis, and 50Hz/60Hz line noise filtering.
