Description
The Micrel C21648 is a constant frequency, synchronous buck controller designed with adaptive on-time control. It is part of the Hyper Speed ControlTM family of buck controllers developed by Micrel. This controller operates with a voltage input range of 3V to 28V and has a maximum output current capability of 25A. It offers a switching frequency of 300kHz, 600kHz, or 1MHz, depending on the application requirements. The C21648 is also equipped with features such as foldback current limit, hiccup mode short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and pre-bias output safety. It is available in a 10-pin MSOP package.
