Maxwell Technologies’s RPF89611B is a radiation-hardened operational amplifier designed specifically for use in space missions. It features a high gain and is internally frequency compensated. With a total dose tolerance of over 100 krad (Si), depending on the space mission, the RPF89611B operates from a single power supply over a wide range of voltages. It is also capable of operating from split power supplies, and its low power supply current drain is independent of the magnitude of the power supply voltage. The RPF89611B utilizes Maxwell Technologies's patented RAD-PAK® packaging technology, which provides radiation shielding and eliminates the need for additional box shielding. This packaging technology ensures the required radiation shielding for a lifetime in orbit or space missions, and offers a radiation dose tolerance of over 100 krad (Si) in a GEO orbit. The RPF89611B is available with screening up to Class S.
