The BCM5248 is an octal transceiver designed for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 100BASE-FX applications. It features advanced cable diagnostics, automatic cable uncrossing, and low power consumption. The BCM5248 is optimized for use with Broadcom's StrataSwitch™ Family and is available in QFP or BGA package options.
