Description
The AD261BND-3 is a digital isolator from Analog Devices used to isolate five digital control signals to/from a microcontroller and its related field I/O components. With six available models, all I/O combinations from five input lines to five output lines can be achieved and every AD261 effectively replaces up to five opto-isolators. This component has an isolation test voltage of up to 3.5 kV rms and a logic signal bandwidth of 20 MHz (min), as well as CMV transient immunity of 10 kV/ms min and waveform symmetry maintained to within ±1 ns of the input, allowing for accurate isolation of time-based PWM signals. Additionally, the field and system output enable/three-state functions allow for easy multiplexing of multiple AD261 isolators.
