Description
The LT3650EMSE-8.2#PBF is a battery management IC belonging to the category of electronic components. It is a monolithic single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger with a constant-current/constant-voltage charge characteristic. This IC can operate over a wide input voltage range of 4.75V to 32V and has a minimum start-up voltage of 7.5V. The maximum charge current can be set externally through programming up to 2A, using an external current sense resistor. It has a precondition feature that trickle charges a low voltage battery, and bad-battery detection provides a signal and suspends charging if a battery does not respond to preconditioning.
