Description
The RDA5820 is a single-chip broadcast FM transceiver with a fully integrated synthesizer, IF selectivity, and MPX decoder. It uses the CMOS process and requires the least external component, making it suitable for portable devices. The chip has a powerful low-IF digital audio processor, providing optimum sound quality with varying reception conditions. Additionally, the RDA5820 has RDA patented dual synthesizers and an all-digital transmit structure, ensuring excellent transmission performance and agility. It supports a frequency band of 65M~115M and integrates 4K memory, making it ideal for simple wireless control appliances such as toys.

- Digital auto gain control (AGC) and digital adaptive noise cancellation with mono/stereo switch, soft mute, and high cut
- Programmable de-emphasis (50/75 ms)
- Receive signal strength indicator (RSSI), bass boost, and volume control
- Support I2S digital transmitter, audio power amplifier (32Ω resistance loading), and I2S digital input/output interface
- Line-level analog output voltage
- 32.768 KHz, 12M, 24M, 13M, 26M, 19.2M, 38.4MHz reference clock
- 2-wire and 3-wire serial control bus interface
- Directly support 32Ω resistance loading
- Integrated LDO regulator: 2.7 to 5.5 V operation voltage
- 4X4mm 24 pinQFN package
