  • Description

    The XL1530 is an electronic component model in the clock/timing application specific category. It is an isolated RS-485/RS-422 full duplex transceiver that provides 2500VRMS of galvanic isolation between the RS-485/RS-422 side and the processor or control logic side. The device allows fast, 1000kbps communication across an isolation barrier even when the common-mode voltages on either side of the barrier have large differences. The isolation is achieved through integrated high-voltage capacitors, and the XL1530 also features a 420kHz transformer driver for power transfer to the RS-485 side using an external transformer.
