Description
The Si3015-KS is an integrated direct access arrangement (DAA) chipset that provides a digital, programmable line interface to meet global telephone line requirements. It is designed by Silicon Laboratories and is available in two versions: Si3024 with an AC’97 interface and Si3014 with a phone-line interface. This chipset eliminates the need for an analog front end (AFE), an isolation transformer, relays, opto-isolators, and a 2- to 4-wire hybrid.
