Description
The IDT7202LA15PI is a dual-port memory component designed for first-in/first-out (FIFO) data handling. It features Full and Empty flags to prevent data overflow and underflow, and allows for unlimited expansion in both word size and depth. The data reads and writes are internally sequential through ring pointers, eliminating the need for address information. The component utilizes a 9-bit wide data array, which is useful for adding control and parity bits in data communication applications. It also includes a Retransmit capability and a Half-Full Flag in single device and width expansion modes. This FIFO is fabricated using high-speed CMOS technology and is suitable for asynchronous and simultaneous read/writes in multiprocessing and rate buffer applications. The military grade product complies with MIL-STD-883, Class B.
