Description
The UA2723 is a low-noise, low-dropout linear regulator designed for electronic components. It operates from a 2.5V to 6.5V input and guarantees a maximum output current of 300mA. The MAX8860 offers six available preset output voltages, including 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.77V, 2.82V, 3V, and 3.3V. Additionally, it has a Dual Mode™ feature that allows it to be configured as an adjustable output regulator from 1.25V to 6.5V. The device is designed with an internal P-channel MOSFET pass transistor, ensuring a low 120µA supply current. It also includes features such as output fault-detection circuit, logic-controlled shutdown mode, short-circuit protection, thermal-shutdown protection, and reverse battery protection. The UA2723 is available in a miniature 8-pin µMAX package, making it suitable for various applications in the IC Chips product category.
